April
Feast of Madonna dello Splendore, with horse race within the city
centre, in memory of the apparition of Our Lady to a humble
farmer. The Feast attracts thousands of people on the day of the
Gallop Horse Race through the center on April 21. It is a
re-enactment of the ancient race of Arab knights.

Sea Week Festival, with performance, music and (of course) sea
food

Buskers' Festival
8-14 August Feast of Madonna del Portosalvo, at Giulianova
Lido, the most ancient folk feast, dedicated to the Madonna of the
Portosalvo, protector of sailors and fishermen. On the closing day
striking procession takes place at sea.
Throughout the Summer - music concerts of national and
international artists in the "Chico Mendez" park and at the
Kursal, a very beautiful liberty palace on the sea front.
